18-Member Team Named For Pan American Games

Head Coach of the Reggae Girlz, Hue Menzies has named the eighteen players for the Women’s Football squad to the Pan American Games, in Lima Peru, from July 26 to August 11.

The squad will stage a training camp in Jamaica from July 19 to 23.

Unlike the Men’s teams at the tournament, the Women’s teams are without age restrictions.

Brazil is the defending gold medalist but, will not be participating in the Games.

Jamaica has been drawn in a group which include, Panama; Costa Rica and Mexico.

The squad retains eleven of the players who were part of the World Cup.

Rachel Smith is the only new comer to the squad.
