22 Convicted, Sentenced In St. James Last Week

Twenty-two people have been convicted and sentenced for a number of crimes in the St. James Circuit Court and Western Regional Gun Court during a five day period last week. One man was sentenced for murder.

Three persons who were charged with murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter were sentenced. Another man was sentenced for wounding with intent.

Four were convicted and sentenced for various sexual offences.

Five others were convicted for various breaches of the Firearms Act and eight in relation to the lottery scam.

They were all convicted and sentenced between May 20 and 24 last week.
Kenyon Smith who pleaded guilty to murder was sentenced to 10- years at hard labour.

Rick Dickson, otherwise called ‘Ferry Graham’, Fitzroy Manderson and Garfield Haughton received between four and seven years for manslaughter.

Adolphus Allen who pleaded guilty to wounding with intent was sentenced to six years in prison.

Lloyd Tomlinson, Germaine Clarke, Tevan Martin and Paul Reid who were convicted for various sexual offences received between two and five years.

Ackeen Reid, Joheil Bligen, Joseph Jenning, Garnett Graham and Delroy Ranking were convicted and sentenced for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

The final eight were fined between a hundred thousand and 3- hundred and 50-thousand dollars for being in possession of identity information.

Geraldine Luders, Gavin Johnson, Anthony Jeffison, Keniel Johnson, Darreio Barracks, Alex Perry, Curtis Moore and Sheehan Campbell could face imprisonment ranging from 1-year to 5-years if the fines aren’t paid.
