4 PNP Candidates to Face Off in NE St. Ann

Four People’s National Party aspirants are set to face off in a selection exercise on Sunday as they seek to represent the party in North East St. Ann.

The JLP’s Shahine Robinson is the sitting Member of Parliament.

Mayor of St Ann’s Bay and Councillor for the Lime Hall Division, Desmond Gilmore; Brown’s Town businessman, Anthony Charley; Councillor for the Ocho Rios Division, Dr Rohan Williams and the brother of former PNP Minister Errol ‘Jigs’ Ennis; Michael Ennis, are the four aspirants.

Chairman of constituency, James Walsh, says efforts are still being made to finalize the voter’s list.

More than 400 delegates are eligible to vote at the St. Ann’s Bay Primary school.
