Four teachers at a number of High Schools in Clarendon have been arrested and charged with sexual assault and child molestation over the past month.
The four have been detained in separate incidents.
The commanding officer for the Clarendon Police is Senior Superintendent Fitz Bailey.
SSP Bailey says all four cases involve children under sixteen years old.
He says in one instance – an under-aged female student was molested multiple times.
SSP Bailey says information reaching the Police is that the father used the proceeds to send the child to school and support himself.
