A 4-year-old boy is dead after he allegedly shot himself on Delamere Avenue in Kingston last evening.
Dead is Nathan Newman.
Reports are, about 6:45 last evening, Nathan was at home when it’s alleged he shot himself with a glock pistol. The licensed firearm is reportedly his father’s.
The Police were summoned and he was taken to the Kingston Public hospital where he was pronounced dead. Detectives assigned to the Hunts Bay Police Station are probing the death of the 4-year-old child.
Meanwhile, another 7-year-old is in hospital nursing gunshot wounds.
Head of the St. James Police Superintendent Gary McKenzie says the child was shot and his father, Wayne Wynter killed in Anchovy, St. James yesterday.
