Triple Murder In Waterford, 2 Others Shot Including A 12-year-old Boy


The Constabulary’s Major Investigation Division is investigating a triple murder that occurred in Waterford in Portmore, St. Catherine on Saturday night. Five people were shot during the incident.

One of those nursing gunshot wounds is a 12-year-old boy. Dead are 37-year-old tailor, Marlon Booth, 19-year-old Brandon Beckford and 30-year-old, Nicholas Douglas, otherwise called ‘Shane’.

Reports from the police are a group of people were on Maryland Road playing dominoes and other games when they were approached by a number of armed men.

The men reportedly opened fire on the group as they played their games.
The unknown assailants used a waiting motorcar to escape.

According to reports reaching our News Centre, the getaway car used by the criminals was intercepted by police in Naggo Head in Portmore.

The occupants of the car reportedly abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot.
