72-year-old Woman Murdered in Ocho Rios


The St. Ann Police have launched an investigation into the suspected murder of a 72-year-old woman of Buckfield in Ocho Rios in the parish.

Dead is 72 year old Doreen Collesso.

Reports are that a relative of Ms. Collesso went to her home in Buckfield and found her lying face down in a pool of blood.

Checks by the Police revealed that Ms. Collesso had a wound to her neck.

No one has been taken into custody in connection with the suspected murder.

Miss Collesso is the grandmother of Irie FM Broadcast Journalist, K’shema Francis.

Miss Francis used Instagram on the weekend to appeal to anyone with information about the killer or killers of her Grandmother to contact the Police at the 119 emergency number.
