Police Sources Hint At Link Between Waterford Triple Murder & Sikka Rymes Shooting Incident


Sources close to last night’s triple murder in Waterford, St. Catherine are theorising that the killing may have been a reprisal for a shooting earlier on Sunday.

Dead are 74-year-old Pamela Russell, her daughter 48-year-old Shemelia Russell Craig and her  21-year-old grandson Romario Craig.

All three were killed at home on Clandon road.

Nationwide understands that another individual who resides at the dwelling is believed to be connected to a shooting that took place earlier on Sunday in which entertainer Sikka Rymes was shot and injured.

Police sources indicate that investigators believe he was the intended target.

But, he was not at home when the three family members were murdered.

The Police say they were sitting in their living room at about 9:20 last night when they were pounced upon by unknown assailants.

The Russells were shot several times.

The family of three who were killed are the relatives of JLP Caretaker for the Waterford Division, Krisho Holmes.

Sikka Rymes, the self-styled Gaza Vice President, is currently battling for life in hospital.His given name is Javian Chambers from Waterford in Portmore, St. Catherine.

However, he was shot and injured in the vicinity of Sovereign in Liganuea, St. Andrew.
