A 93-year old amputee was sexually assaulted at her home in Keith’s in Brown’s Town, St Ann early this morning.
The Police say the woman was at home alone at about 3AM when she was attacked by a man.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Dahlia Garrick, is in charge of the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit.
She’s appealing to persons with information that can help Police investigators to share it.
In the meantime, St Ann’s Bay Mayor, Michael Belnavis, says he’s distraught by the report.
He says Brown’s Town has been experiencing a spate of criminal activity in recent times and he’s asked the Police to intervene.
They were speaking this afternoon with Nationwide News.
