Accused In Reggae Girl Killing Remanded


The woman accused of killing Reggae Girl, Tarania Clarke, was remanded when she appeared in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish court yesterday.

The woman, 20-year-old customer service representative, Rochelle Foster, from Brandon Hill in St. Andrew has been charged with murder.

According to a report from the St. Andrew Central Police, about 8:50 pm on October 31, Clarke and another woman got into an altercation, allegedly over a cellular phone.

Reports are the female suspect had given the phone to Clarke as a gift.

But confronted her and demanded that Clarke return the phone.

The woman then allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Clarke.

The Reggae Girl was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Clarke, affectionately called Plum Plum, was expected to have a promising career in women’s football.
