The extradition hearing of controversial Jamaican born Muslim cleric, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Faisal, is scheduled to resume in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish court today.
The hearing is to determine if Al-Faisal is to be sent to the United States to stand trial for terrorism-related charges.
In August, the controversial cleric was arrested on a provisional warrant under the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty after he was accused by US authorities of engaging in acts of terrorism.
The US authorities say they have evidence that el-Faisal used various social media websites to recruit persons around the world, including undercover police officers in New York, to join the militant group ISIS.
Attorney-at-law Bert Samuels has confirmed that he has been served with evidence collected by US authorities to support their request for his extradition.
