Alleged Contract Killed In St. James Reportedly Pulled Gun On Police


Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime, Fitz Bailey, says the alleged contract killer shot and killed by lawmen in St James on Monday pulled a gun on the police.

Acting DCP Bailey says the alleged contract killer from the corporate area was wanted for several high profile murders.

According to Acting DCP Bailey the three other men taken into custody during the sting operation in Mango Walk in the parish are also suspected contract killers.

He says police intelligence led them to the location where the alleged criminals were confronted.

The senior officer says the men are linked to several serious and violent crimes.

The Police say a Smith and Wesson revolver and 13 rounds of ammunition were also recovered.
