Today several bus loads of party supporters who say they are from Northern Trelawny journeyed to the party’s Old Hope Road headquarters in St. Andrew where they told us senior PNP members were meeting inside.
The supporters demanded that Damion Crawford be installed as their candidate.
The supporters say influential forces in Trelawny are attempting to impose JP White on the constituency. But they say they will not have it.
This week former MP for the area the Dr. Patrick Harris attacked Mr. Crawford. Dr. Harris described Crawford as disrespectful and said he should be kept out of Northern Trelawny.
