A member of the Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, was shot and killed in Clarendon yesterday.
Dead is Private Paul Lindsay, otherwise called ‘Barry’.
Reports are about 3 o’clock Sunday morning, Private Lindsay and another man were at a party when they were approached by armed men.
Reports say the armed men opened fire hitting them. Private Lindsay was shot multiple times.
Private Lindsay and the other man were taken to the May Pen hospital, where the soldier was pronounced dead.
This is the second killing of a JDF soldier in Clarendon in the last two weeks.
JDF soldier Allan Oswald was gunned down in Woodside district, Clarendon on June 23.
