The Union of Schools, Agricultural and Allied Workers, USAAW, today signed the wage agreement with the government.
This brings to nine, the number of unions that have formally accepted the government’s offer of a 7-percent wage increase.
USAAW President, Keith Comrie, says he had intended to sign the Heads of Agreement on Tuesday along with the other unions, but was unable to attend the signing.
He says he expects workers to start receiving payments in September.
U-SAAW represents 3-thousand 5-hundred workers in education, agriculture and railway services.
