Anti-Abortion Advocate Accuses Cuthbert-Flyn of Misleading Country in Abortion Debate

A spokesperson for the Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society, Philippa Davies, is accusing Member of Parliament for St Andrew West Rural, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, of blatantly lying in her arguments in defense of easing the country’s restrictions on abortion.

Ms. Davies says several feminists are seeking to establish abortion as a right for women.

She says abortion is being promoted and supported because people want the freedom to cover illegitimate sexual activities, promiscuity, and also as a means of population control.

The church leaders who attended the symposium, also staged a motorcade to attend a Parliamentary Joint Select Committee meeting at which Mrs. Cuthbert-Flynn’s private members’ motion to ease abortion restrictions was discussed.
