Attorneys for Ruel Reid and Co-Accused Say Clients Deny Wrongdoing

Councilor Brown Lawrence’s attorney, Christopher Townsend, says his client denies wrongdoing.

Mr. Townsend says he’s seeking the earliest possible court date for Mrs. Brown Lawrence.

Efforts to contact one of Mr. Reid’s attorneys, Carolyn Chuck, were unsuccessful.

Miss Chuck represented Mr. Reid at the question and answer session today before he was charged.

A few weeks ago, another of Reid’s attorneys, Hugh Wildman, insisted that his client is not guilty of wrongdoing.

Mr. Wildman insisted that the former Education Minister is the victim of swirling misinformation and political grandstanding.
