State Minister in the Ministry of Transport and Works, Richard Azan, is this afternoon harshly criticizing the National Water Commission, NWC, for the state of some roads across the country.
Mr. Azan, who’s also the MP for North West Clarendon, says the NWC is responsible for most of the problems with our roads.
He’s even calling on persons to demonstrate against the NWC.
Mr. Azan made the comments today during the official opening of the Land Top road in Eastern Hanover.
The 5.6 kilometre roadway was repaired to the tune of over 4-million dollars as part of works carried out under the Jamaica Emergency Employment Programme, JEEP and supervised by the National Works Agency.
