Former People’s National Party, PNP Senator Basil Waite had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Criminal Court this morning.
He’s scheduled to reappear on July 10.
Waite, a former advisor to Local Government Minister Noel Arscott is to answer to corruption charges.
He was arrested and charged by the Major Organised and Anti-Corruption Task Force MOCA on October 8.
Waite is accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He has denied the charges.
