Barcelona & Bayern Munich advance to UEFA Champions Semifinals

Barcelona advanced to the UEFA champions league semi-final 5-1 on aggregate, after Neymar scored a brace in Barca’s 2-nil win in today’s return leg quarterfinal.

The Brazilian scored his first goal in the 14th minute with the 2nd coming in minute 34.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich put in a devastating first-half performance to overcome a first-leg deficit and beat 10-man Porto to reach the semi-finals.

Needing a 2-nil win, Bayern were level on aggregate within 22 minutes thanks to Thiago and Jerome Boateng headers.

Robert Lewandowksi put them further ahead and Thomas Muller drove home for 4-nil before Lewandowski added a second.

Jackson Martinez gave Porto some hope, but Ivan Marcano was sent off, with Xabi Alonso scoring from the free-kick.
