Usain bolt has withdrawn from Diamond League races in Paris and Lausanne next month because of a pelvic injury.
The 28 year-old was scheduled to face Asafa Powell in the 100-metres.
A visit to a German doctor has revealed that he has a blocked sacroiliac joint.
Sports medicine specialist, Dr. Paul Wright, says it’s a ligament injury. He says with rest and proper treatment bolt should be back to full fitness in three weeks.
Dr. Wright says the six time Olympic champion can still train while he’s rehabilitating.
