Usain Bolt says he’s thrilled about representing Norwegian football team Stromsgodset in a practice match against the country’s under-19s, next Tuesday.
Bolt, the 100 and 200-metres world record holder, has already trained with Borussia Dortmund and South African club Sundowns this year. He will captain a team of celebrities and footballers in a charity game, next month.
Bolt is training with the club for a week in preparation for the Soccer Aid match for Unicef on June 10 at Old Trafford.
He’s hoping to impress the various scouts that he expects to be at the Charity match.
Bolt, who’s considered a track and field legend, says he would have been just as great in football if he had played the sport instead of running track.
