Both Parties Upbeat as October 30 By-Election Draws Nigh

With just a week to go before the hotly contested South East, St. Mary by-election on October 30, both the Opposition PNP and the governing JLP are expressing confidence that their candidate will win.

An upbeat PNP General Secretary, Julian Robinson, spoke with our news centre this afternoon.

Mr. Robinson says the campaign is going well.

Meantime – a key member of the campaign team for the JLP’s candidate, Dr. Norman Dunn – Daryl Vaz says Alexis is facing defeat.

Vaz was addressing a JLP meeting in Richmond on the weekend. He called on Dr. Dunn to take an oath of performance.
