The Constabulary’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, P-STEB, is warning that motorists travelling in the Corporate Area should expect delays this afternoon.

Commanding Officer for the Traffic Enforcement Division of P-STEB, Deputy Superintendent Winchester Watson, says there will be traffic changes in the Half Way Tree area.

This is as a result of a broken water main along Constant Spring Road.

The traffic changes mean there will be one way traffic heading north out of Half Way Tree along Constant Spring Road.

The changes also mean motorists trying to access Half Way Tree from Washington Boulevard using Constant Spring Road, will have to find alternative routes.

DSP Watson says the traffic changes came into effect at approximately 4 o’clock this afternoon.

He says although the police are assisting to regulate traffic, motorists should brace for delays.
