Opposition Spokesman on Investment, Peter Bunting, says investors who may want to shy away from potentially adverse public comments about deals they’ve agreed with the government should not be tolerated.
Mr. Bunting says investors who’re concerned about scrutiny of their investment deals may have ulterior motives.

Bunting was addressing his Central Manchester constituency conference on the weekend.
Over the past few weeks, two of the country’s most prominent businessmen – Hugh Hart and Michael Lee Chin, commented that unreasonable negative public commentary about the Rooms On The Beach deal could drive the US half-a-billion dollar investment away from Jamaica.
On Friday, Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith, accused the Opposition PNP of endangering major investment and job opportunities for Jamaicans by disparaging credible deals.
