Burton, Others of 98′ World Cup Squad, to Play In Honour of ‘Pepe’


Former reggae boy, Deon Burton, is among several members from Jamaica’s historic 1998 world cup squad who’ll play in a testimonial in honour of Ian ‘Pepe’ Goodison.

The game’s to be played on May 4.

Goodison has been granted the testimonial by his English league two side, Trenmere rovers, the club he played with for 10-years.

Burton says he’s looking forward to the game.

Paul hall, Marcus Gayle, Ricardo Gardner, frank Sinclair, Jamie Lawrence and Michael Johnson, have also been confirmed.
