Bus Overturns in Mammee Bay


A public passenger bus transporting nineteen people overturned at the round-about in the vicinity of Mammee Bay, St. Ann just after 2pm yesterday.

The bus that was on its way from Kingston to Montego Bay skidded and ran across the road before overturning.

Twelve of the nineteen passengers were rushed to the St. Ann’s Bay hospital by three ambulances.

A number of the others were transported by the Traffic Police who were quick on the scene.

The other seven passengers were questioned by the Police.

A medical unit from the Fire Brigade was also on the scene treating the passengers who suffered minor injuries.
