Chairman of Citizens Action for Free and Fair Elections, CAFFE, Dr. Lloyd Barnett says the newly elected Jamaica Labour Party administration must ensure that the business of the country continue as usual.

Dr. Barnett says yesterday’s voter-turnout of 47-percent is an indication that meaningful changes are needed in the country.

He’s calling on the JLP to cut the size of the Cabinet and to appoint members of statutory bodies on the basis of qualifications instead of political loyalties.
