Clarendon College Secures First Victory In 2nd Round Of DaCosta Cup


Defending DaCosta Cup Champions, Clarendon College kicked off the second round with a victory over Green Pond.

Clarendon College recorded a 3-to-1 victory in one of eight games in second round action this afternoon.

In the early kick off Dinthill Technical High School secured a 1-nil win over Central High School.

In the 2 pm kick-offs, Anchovy High and Alston High played to a 1-all draw.
Maggotty registered a 2-nil victory over Oracabessa.

Peteroy Jones and Dwayne Brown got the goals for Maggotty.

Oracabessa finished the game with 10 men.

In the day’s other games Frome drew 1-all with Vere Technical.

Giovanni Mitto scored in the first half for Frome before Trevance Salmon, scored a late penalty for Vere to secure the draw.

Manchester High beat St. Thomas Technical by a one goal to nil.

Petersfield ran out 2-to-1 winners over William Knibb.

Cornwall College and Munroe College drew 1-all.
