There were many testy exchanges at the Enquiry today as attorney for the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM, Terrence Williams, cross-examined Former Police Commissioner, Owen Ellington.
At one point, Mr. Williams told the former Police Commissioner that he’d not allow him to dictate his cross-examination.
Mr. Ellington also deflected many questions from Mr. Williams, telling him they’d be better answered by other witnesses to come.
At another point, Mr. Ellington suggested Mr. Williams was ‘dishonest’.
Mr. Ellington subsequently withdrew his ‘dishonest’ comment, after being instructed to do by Chairman of the Commission, Sir David Simmons.
