‘Collaborating on Crime Not so Simple’, says Phillips

Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips, says collaborating with the government in developing a crime plan is not as simple as agreeing to support the victims of the fire at the Walker’s Place of Safety.

Dr. Phillips was responding to comments made in the media that both the government and the opposition were quickly able to provide resources and support to the fire victims earlier this week.

He says for the purposes of a crime plan, the opposition will have to be given information that’s only available to the government.

But, Dr. Phillips, who’s also the President of the PNP, says the opposition is ready to work with the government on a crime plan.

He was responding to a question from Nationwide’s Dennis Brooks.
