Controversial American Pastor Denied Entry into Jamaica

Controversial American Baptist pastor Stephen Anderson has been denied entry to Jamaica.

Pastor Anderson, who ministers with the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona, planned to visit the island to preach.

A petition on the website change-dot-org to ban Anderson from visiting has received over 30,000 signatures to date.

The pastor has already been banned from Canada, the UK, Botswana and South Africa, for reportedly preaching hate and violence against gay people.

He was scheduled to arrive on the island yesterday.

But in a video posted on YouTube, Pastor Anderson says he was informed he wouldn’t be allowed into the country.

The pastor says he believes the ban is the result of outside influence.
