The Supreme Court ruled this morning that former Police Federation Chair Arlene McBean be reinstated immediately.
Corporal McBean had filed an application in the Supreme Court for her to be reinstated to the post of Chairperson of the Police Federation.
The application was filed in February after the feud between Corporal McBean and some senior members of the Federation deepened.
She’d taken the top brass of the Federation to Court for what she claims was an illegal move to have her removed from the post.
Her attorney, Hugh Wildman, says the court found that the Federation acted illegally.
And Corporal McBean says she’s thankful for the decision.
