Cowan Elected As General Secretary Of Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Organisation


General Secretary of the Jamaica Volleyball Association, Jacqueline Cowan, was elected unopposed as Secretary General of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Organisation at the body’s congress In Montego Bay, yesterday.

Cowan will serve under the administration of Mushtaque Mohammed until 2023.

Cowan says improving the infrastructure around the region will be one of the top three priority of the administration.

Meanwhile, president of the Cayman Islands volleyball federation, Kennedy McGowan was elected 1st Vice-president of CAZOVA.

He says the board will be managing several development initiatives for the federations in the region.

Mohammed, McGowan, and Cowan will become board members at the next NORCECA Congress, to be held in June 2020 in the Dominica Republic.
