Cuban Teachers to Help Boost Science and Spanish Education

Eighteen Cuban teachers have been sent to schools across the island to boost Science and Spanish teaching.

They’ll serve at all levels of the school system. They join thirty-nine other teachers from Cuba already teaching here.

Permanent Secretary in the Education Ministry, Dean-Roy Bernard, says the Cuban teachers will help the government’s push to get children to learn Spanish.
