Curfew Imposed In Waterford Following Bloody Weekend

A curfew has been imposed in Waterford, St. Catherine.

The curfew began at 6:00 last evening and will remain in effect until 6:00 tomorrow evening.

The curfew follows a triple murder in the area Sunday night.

Three family members were killed.

Sources close to Sunday night’s triple murder are theorizing that the killing may have been a reprisal for a shooting earlier that day.

Nationwide News understands that another individual who resides at the dwelling in Waterford is believed to be connected to a shooting that took place earlier on Sunday in which entertainer Sikka Rymes was shot and wounded.

The boundaries of the curfew are North along Caymanas Drive from the eastern perimeter wall of Caymanas Park along Adair Drive across the gully to Dyke Road.

It extends South along Passagefort Drive from the intersection with Dyke Road to the eastern perimeter wall of Caymanas Park and West from the intersection with Passagefort Drive to the intersection with Adair Drive.

The boundaries also cover East along Dyke Road from the intersection with Passagefort Drive to the northern boundary.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless authorised in writing by the ground commander.
