Prime Minister Andrew Holness says a revised version of the Data Protection Bill will shortly be re-tabled in Parliament.

Mr. Holness made the disclosure in the House of Representatives yesterday.

He was responding to more questions from the Member of Parliament for South East St. Andrew, Julian Robinson.

Mr. Robinson initially asked Prime Minister Holness whether the information of any Jamaican was collected before the Court struck down the NIDS Act.

Mr. Holness urged the Opposition not to turn the NIDS programme into a political football.
