Debt Servicing In 2020/21 Budget In The Right Direction – Scotia Group Executive


Head of Insurance & Wealth Management at Scotia Group Jamaica, Dr Adrian Stokes, says debt servicing in the 2020/2021 budget appears to be going in the right direction.

He says the government is paying much lower interest rates on its debt.

According to Dr. Stokes, the demand for government paper is outstripping the supply.

He says this augurs well for the country.

Dr Stokes says he hopes these positive developments will continue.
