Disappointment on Day 6 in Rio

66

It was a disappointing morning for Jamaica on day-6 of athletics at the Rio Olympics, as all four of the country’s athletes failed to advance to the next round of their respective events.

Kemoy Campbell running in heat-1 of the men’s 5000-metres could only manage a 10th place finish.

Simoya Campbell and Kenia Sinclair both finished 7th in their heat of the women’s 800-metres.

National champion, Natoya Goule finished third in heat-8, but her time of 2-minutes 3 point-76-seconds was not fast enough for her to qualify on time.
