President of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, JCC, Lloyd Distant Jr. has been elected to serve a second term.

His reappointment follows an election at the Chamber’s annual general meeting Tuesday.

The event was held at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston.

The returning president detailed a number of areas he hopes to tackle and build on for 2020.

He contends the country is rich with economic opportunities.

But he says the Chamber will continue to press for growth while being mindful of the hints of a recession on the world scene.
