DPP Says 4 Possible Criminal Breaches In Ruel Reid/CMU Money Scandal


The Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP, Paula Llewelyn says in her opinion, there are possibly four breaches of the criminal law, and two possible breaches of common law.

She made the revelations in a detailed statement obtained by Nationwide News, a short while ago.

She says she’s instructed her team to prepare a detailed legal opinion on all the matters that were reviewed for further discussion.

She says she’s reviewed the material and the legal opinion and I agree with the four assigned prosecutors.

According to the statement, the DPP confirms that as a result of the assessment, the office has provided the Financial Investigation Division with a detailed thirteen paged document which includes a legal opinion, guidance and recommendations.
