Dr. Phillips Laments Current State of the Health Sector


Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips, is calling for urgent resources to be pumped into the health sector to repair machines that aren’t working and reduce waiting time for patients.

Dr. Phillips says there’s been a disappointing breakdown in the state of infrastructure and systems in some crucial sectors.

He lamented figures tabled in the House of Representatives recently which suggest that poverty increased in 2017 by 2% compared to the previous year.

He was addressing a constituency conference in Mikhael Phillips’s North West Manchester constituency.
