Drought Won’t Affect Food Prices – Senator Grant

The leadership of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority, RADA and the Jamaica Agricultural Society, JAS, say they don’t believe the impact of the drought on food prices this year, will be as bad as last year.

The President of the JAS, Senator Norman Grant, says there could be a slight contraction in production from small and medium farmers who depend on rainfall.
