Elaine Thompson Embracing ‘Sprint Queen’ Title

Elaine Thompson says she happily embraces the title “sprint queen”.

Thompson won the 100 and 200-metres at the Rio games to become the first Jamaican female to complete the sprint double at the Olympics.

Thompson says the 10.49 seconds 100-metres world record set by American Florence Griffith-Joyner in 1988 is not beyond her reach.
