Elaine Thompson continued her impressive showing ahead of the 2017 IAAF World Championships after winning the women’s 100-metres at the London Diamond League meet, yesterday.
Thompson posted 10.94-seconds to finish ahead of her rival Dafne Schippers.
Janieve Russell was also in the winners’ circle after stopping the clock at 54.2-seconds to take the top spot in the women’s 400-metres hurdle.
Her Compatriots Leah Nugent finished 7th and Ristananna Tracey 9th.
Meanwhile, Fedrick Dacres got the silver in the men’s discuss with the gold going to Daniel Stahl of Sweden.
