Elaine Walker-Brown Makes History

Elaine Walker-Brown created history by becoming the first female to be elected president of the St. Catherine Football Association.

She moved to the helm of the parish’s football governance with a 41- 38 victory over Ricardo Valentine at the association’s annual general meeting and elections, on Sunday.

Walker-Brown, the chairperson for the JFF’s Women’s Football Committee, went into the elections with only four nominations compared to the 28 received by Valentine.

An elated president Walker-Brown says that was part of her strategy.
