Entertainer Keshan Shot & Killed In Bitter Dispute


Twenty-four-year-old entertainer Keshan was shot and killed Saturday in Old Harbour, St Catherine.

The dancehall artiste whose given name is Keneisha Brown died after an altercation with a licensed firearm holder.

She’s from Hibiscus Drive in Marley Mount, Old Harbour.

The incident took place in Sharper Lane, in the parish.

Reports are, Brown was shot shortly before 1 Saturday morning, after throwing several stones in the licensed firearm holder’s motor vehicle.

She also reportedly attacked and stabbed him.

Police say he then fired one shot hitting Brown in the upper body.

She was taken to hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Brown is popularly known for her music collaborations with incarcerated DJ Vybz Kartel.

Her songs include ‘Bubble up Yuh Body’ and ‘The Goods’.

Meanwhile, it’s understood the licensed firearm holder remains hospitalized and under police supervision.
