Ex-Boyfriend who Stabbed Woman, Dies after Being Shot


The ex-boyfriend who was shot after attacking his ex-girlfriend at a staff party at the Bahia Principe Hotel in St. Ann last night has died.

He is 36-year-old taxi driver Leo Henry.

Henry attacked his ex-girlfriend with a knife stabbing her several times.

The Police say in a bid to restrain Henry, a security officer who is also a licensed firearm holder employed to the hotel challenged him.

Henry was shot.

Social Relations Manger at the hotel, Farah Blake said the bullet that hit Henry, exited his body and injured the woman’s 17-year old son who was close by.

All three were taken to the hospital.

The 17-year old and his mother remain in hospital this afternoon.
