Firearms & Ammo Seized, One Man Arrested in St. Catherine SOE


The Constabulary Force is reporting the seizure of two firearms and more than 200 rounds of ammunition in separate incidents in St. Catherine.

One person has been arrested following one of the seizures.

In the latest incident, Charles McDonald, otherwise known as ‘Chups’ was arrested in Dela Vega City, in Spanish Town.

McDonald was arrested during a joint police/military operation yesterday.

114 assorted rounds of ammunition were seized during the raid.

Meanwhile, two firearms were seized in the St. John’s Road area of Spanish Town yesterday.

A police ballistic vest was also seized.

A 9mm pistol and a home made gun were seized along with 108 rounds of ammunition.
