Chief Executive Officer of the Firearm Licensing Authority, FLA, Shane Dalling says they’re yet to locate the unarmed guard who was said to be present at the St James security company at the time it was robbed.

The criminals escaped with 19 firearms and several rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Mr Dalling says there are myriad examples of irresponsibility with firearm owners and users.

He says the authorities will be embarking on a thorough investigation in these and similar incidents.

Dalling says if firearms are lost under questionable circumstances, the firearm owner could be criminally charged.

He says in the case of businesses such as security companies they could even lose their license.

Shane Dalling, CEO of the FLA speaking on Nationwide This Morning.

The FLA is to reportedly take action against the looted security company this week.
